How to identify fake Pakistan e-bike application pages, payment scams and cloned government portals.
Popular government schemes attract fake websites and social-media pages. Electric-bike applications are especially attractive to scammers because genuine programs can involve CNICs, bank information, licence details and payments. Red flags
Be cautious of guaranteed approval, personal bank-account transfers, WhatsApp-only registration, shortened links, requests for OTPs, remote phone access and forms that use government logos on unrelated domains. Verify the scheme first
Open the Punjab Portal, Punjab Transport Department or responsible federal program page independently. Follow the official link to the application portal rather than trusting the link in a forwarded message. Banking safety
If Bank of Punjab or another authorized bank is part of the program, payment and financing instructions should be traceable to official channels. Never send money to an individual “agent.” Check the price and financing guide rather than trusting unofficial installment claims.
Protect your data
An independent information site should never ask for CNIC scans, OTPs, bank PINs or application passwords. If you already submitted sensitive information to a suspicious page, contact the relevant bank/government support channel promptly.
